Colourful play area for active breaks
A successful surprise: in the last week of the summer holidays, the parents' council of the primary and secondary school in Ergolding launched a painting campaign to beautify the playground in time for the start of school. Paints sponsored by MIPA were used to paint the playground floor with colourful playing fields. The aim of the campaign is to offer the children more opportunities to play in the fresh air during their breaks.
“The feedback from the pupils is consistently positive,” reports Simone Gschwendtner from the parents’ council. “Children need exercise and fresh air during their learning breaks to clear their heads for learning again. With the new play opportunities, we are promoting physical activity and a sense of community among the children.”
