Automechanika: MIPA focusses on sustainability and precision

  • Mipa News

MIPA has been represented at Automechanika in Frankfurt for more than 30 years and has always presented the latest products and state-of-the-art working methods especially to trade fair visitors for the first time.

The Mipa mixing systems with the Mipa WBC Waterbasecoat System and the associated colour matching tools are one focus point of this year's trade fair. In combination with the MipaMix Elite formulation software, the precise and user-friendly colour measurement with the MA 3, MA 5 and MA 5C photo spectrometers, the latest generation of colour measurement devices, can be tested and experienced directly at the trade fair booth.

This is complemented by the presentation of fully automatic mixing machines that offer maximum precision and efficiency when mixing. These machines guarantee flawless and reproducible results, even with very small quantities, which enables cost and time savings in the work shops.

A particular highlight of the trade fair appearance is the presentation of putties, fillers and clear coats made from renewable raw materials such as cork flour, camphene or forage maize. These innovative products significantly reduce the use of fossil raw materials and therefore CO2 emissions without compromising on quality or time.

The styrene-free 2K-PE lightweight filler Mipa P 19E contains more than 50% of renewable raw materials and does not differ in application from conventional 2K polyester fillers. The Mipa 2K-HS-Filler EF 42 was also developed in a mixing ratio of 4:1 with the Mipa 2K-MS-Härter EMS, which is also based on natural raw materials, without requiring a change of application methods.  Thanks to the well-known express technology, the Mipa 2K-HS-Express clearcoat ECX 21 combines the reduction of energy input and costs during drying with the extensive elimination of fossil raw materials, which enables more sustainable work at the highest level.

MIPA's trade fair appearance will be rounded off by the presentation of the complete range of MP Non-Paints. These products are specially designed for use with Mipa car refinishing paints and offer maximum process reliability and quality. MIPA is once again focussing on showing trade fair visitors both new products and an overview of its wide range. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors at booth F02-F04 in hall 11.1.
