9,000 euros for social projects

  • Mipa News

Once again this year, the traditional Christmas raffle organised by Mipa trainees raised a considerable amount, which will benefit three social projects in the region. The proceeds were topped up with donations from Mipa employees and then generously rounded up by MIPA SE. This resulted in a total of 9,000 euros, which was donated in equal parts to the Stille Hilfe e.V. organisation, the Kinderkrebshilfe Dingolfing-Landau-Landshut e.V. children's cancer charity and lebensmut Landshut e.V..

The Stille Hilfe e.V. association was founded in 2014 to support people who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own. In the Landshut region, the organisation is particularly committed to helping those affected by difficult strokes of fate and giving them back a little joy in life.

Kinderkrebshilfe Dingolfing-Landau-Landshut e.V. has been committed to helping children with cancer and their families since 1994. In addition to psychological and social support, the organisation provides immediate assistance to alleviate financial burdens and support affected families in difficult times.

The lebensmut Landshut e.V. association supports cancer patients and their relatives. In addition to emotional and psychological support, it promotes therapy-related measures that are not covered by health insurance. All services are financed purely by donations and are intended to provide patients with the best possible support on their road to recovery.

At the official handover of the donations in Essenbach, Mipa CFO Robert Jungwirth, together with some trainees, had the opportunity to personally hand over the donations to the representatives of the three associations and at the same time find out about the work of the organisations and the specific use of the donations.
